Halloween goodies

Happy Halloween stampers,
These are bags I made for my daughters soccer team today. Aren't they cute! I am going to fill them with some goodies, but no candy since they will be getting enough tonight.
I used the Batty for you stamp set
Cast A Spell DSP, pumpkin pie, old olive, black, lovely lilac, whisper white paper
I also used my favorite big shot die- the fancy favor box die. If you look real close you will see that the strip of paper in the center is the left over top part of the paper not cut out from the die. I never throw anything away!!!

Goodmorning stampers,
Look at this adorable card I received from my good friend and fellow Stampin Up! demonstrator Liz.
Isn't the sponging amazing! She masked the moon and sponged around it to make the dark sky. I love the look of this card. And what a great technique! Thanks Liz, luv ya!

Pals Paper Arts

Goodmorning stampers,

Todays challenge at Pals Paper Arts was anything but a card. Well, I have been having alot of fun with my sizzix stuff so...I got this new 3-D die and just had to play with it. These turned out so pretty, but they were very hard for me to photograph. The pictures do not do them justice!

Anyway, I used the Christmas cocoa DSP, white organza, red grosgrain, soft suede polka dot ribbon.
And a sizzix 3-d ornament die.

BOOKMARKS

Good Morning stampers,
So I am the READ mom for my daughters class at school. To help motivate the kids (5th grade) I made some bookmarks for each of them.
Didnt they come out cute??
The teacher had the kids write me thank you's and most of the boys took the words right from the stamps "thank you Mrs. Lavelle, Dude that was so cool of you!" I thought it was very cute.
Stamp sets: So Cool, Seriously Sassy
paper: taken with teal, real red, pumpkin pie whisper white

Pals Paper Arts/ Taylored Expressions

Good morning stampers,

both cards used the Dasher stamp.
I just love this whimsical stamp. I love the antlers!!
The first card used: soft suede, bravo burgundy, whisper white and the Christmas cocoa DSP. I also used the scallop #2 die and the scallop punch. Dasher is embossed with gold EP and there are dazzling diamond snowflakes all around him (though you cant really see it in the pic)

The second card used: whisper white, soft suede and Christmas cocoa DSP. The scallop #2 die and I used the champagne shimmer paint first just on dasher and then on the whole circle to add some bling!

SPOOKY BANNER

Good morning to ya,

This is a banner I made last year for Halloween. Since I didn't have a blog back then, I thought I would share it with you this year!

I had so much fun making this banner. The big shot was new then,(at least to Stampin Up!) so I was playing with all my new stuff!!
I used the pennant die and the scallop envelope die. I didn't have a big alphabet die yet so I traced the letters from chipboard letters I had.

Isn't Frankenstein cute!!! He was made using the envelope die and punches.

Here is a little scarier version again using the envelope die and punches.

On each of the letters there is some twill tape ribbon wrapped around them sort of like a mummy!

Our Creative corner

Hi there stampers,
I had a little time to stamp today so ofcourse I worked on some sketches!!
This is a sketch for my creative corner.

Stamp set: trendy trees
paper: chocolate chip, old olive, really rust, whisper white and tall tales DSP

COTTAGE WALL

Good morning stampers.

Here is a gorgeous card that we made at my class last week. The original idea came from a card that I made at convention. My roomies and I signed up to do a wonderful swap where we made half of the cards there and the other half were already completed to take home. It was the best swap I have done so far...40 beautiful full cards and each one was amazing!!!

I love when a card has a different fold or size so this card really caught my attention. The card is 51/2x12, scored at 4, 7, & 10 inches
Stamp set: Kind and caring thoughts
Paper: whisper white, orchid opulence, cottage wall DSP

Isnt it cute open?!!

Birdies

Goodmorning to ya,
Today I have a beautiful card I made over the weekend. I am so drawn to birds right now. Most of my things lately have some kind of bird in them..hmmn I wonder what that means.
The stamp set is from the company Darcies
Paper: close to cocoa, old olive, whisper white
I used a cuttlebug background on both the base card and the old olive I also used my silver shimmer paint on the bird after I watercolored him blue. Its hard to see in the picture but it looks really neat in person.

Birdhouses

Goodmorning stampers,
O.k. so I have been dreaming about making birdhouses lately. Last night I woke up with this brilliant idea....use the box #2 die for the main part of the house!!!! I had to keep telling myself to remember that in the morning (I probably should have gotten up and wrote it down, but who wants to get out of a nice warm bed at 2am)
Anyway the birdhouse on the left was my original idea from my dream. Then my brillian daughter said "hey, we should make a christmas one with snow all over it"...so the birdhouse on the right was the result of that!

Well, since they came out so stinking cute, my daughters decided they needed to make one too! The birdhouses on the left are theirs, pretty good for 10 year olds!!
I used the box #2 die for the big shot
then for the roof I used my scallop punch
The branches were the left over piece that the fancy favor box makes at the top...I just cut them alittle more to look like branches.
The DSP is Tall Tales and Christmas Cocoa
the birds are from the birds and blooms sizzlit and the Merry Details sizzlit. The bird on my daughters house on the right is from a stamp set from Darcies line.

stamping 411 #120

Well, I couldnt make just one card this week, I had to make two!!

I thought this was a cute card! Not that I advocate drinking or anything...but for a special occasion or whatever, enjoy!
Stamp sets: cheers to you, Enjoy every moment
Paper: real red, brilliant blue, whisper white
I used my Stampin Up! markers to color in the drinks and added a cute red rhinestone in the middle of the flower.

Stamping 411 #120

Good Sunday to ya,

I have been so creative lately...it just makes me so happy!!! Here is a card I made for the Stamping 411 challenge. I haven't used this set in awhile, so I dusted it off and got to work. I really love this color combination. It has such a rich feel to the card.

Stamp set: baroque motifs
Paper: old olive, rich razzleberry, whisper white and amazingly no DSP!
I added gold brads to the center of the big flower and the three on the left. I also added some stickles to each of the flowers because I just have to have some bling going on somewhere...after all I have been told I am the queen of the bling!!

Hi there stampers,
I made another few cards today and couldn't wait to share them! I actually had already made this card and then looked at the sketch for 2 sketches 4 you and it fit perfectly!
This is a pop out gift card holder. In the directions I got the card is only 4" tall and I wanted it to be a regular sized card so...I modified the dimensions to my own needs! I cut the paper at 51/2 x 12 and scored at 4",6" and 8".
Stamp set: party hearty
Paper: pacific point, green galore, whisper white and retired sherbet DSP
