Stamp set: a Flower for all Seasons
paper: old olive, so saffron, pretty in pink, bashful blue, whisper white, and pawsitively prints DSP.

Awash with Flowers

Goodmorning stampers,

Todays card was fro the stamping 411 color challenge. the challenge was to use old olive, basic black, rose red, and regal rose. I just love this color combination! It makes me feel very springy and the black just makes the colors pop!

We made a card similar to this last weekend at my sideline meeting. Thank you to Tricia Hicks who showed us this wonderful masking/brayering technique. Sometimes I get so caught up in the "new" wows that I forget about the old standbys.

The face of the card was done by stamping the line images in black on white CS. Then stamping the same images onto a post it note (make sure you are stamping where it is sticky) cover the images with the cut out post its and then brayer the whole face of the card. Remove the post its and use the 2nd step of the two step stamp set to fill in the color that you want. I chose to leave some blank because I thought it looked neat with some white too!
I also added some dazzling diamonds because you just gotta have some bling!

Easter Basket

Goodmorning stampers,
I have seen so many really cute baskets made out of this die. And I knew I wanted to make a Easter basket out of felt.
I used brown felt and cute it out with the Baskets and Bloom die. I then used white thread and quick stitched the basket together. I added some of the really cute Sweet Pea stitched felt flowers and some rose red stitched ribbon. Isn't it just darling??!!

Butterfly die

Goodmorning stampers,
This is a card I made for my sideline meeting last weekend. The theme was a spring card with no sentiment. That way it can become just about any kind of card we wanted! I cased it from
Carrie Hunt. so I must give her credit for this beautiful card!
I did change up the color and add a few more butterflies but for the most part this is her work.
Stamp Set: Thoughts and Prayers
paper: whisper white, melon mambo
old olive and melon mambo markers
beautiful butterflies die, perfect polka dots embossing folder, beautiful wings embosslit and melon mambo polka dot ribbon

definitely decorative

Goodmorning stampers,
Today I wanted to show you a sample of our definitely decorative line. I received this vinyl piece at Leadership for a door prize. Isn't it cute?
It is called Blossom Tile.
This line of vinyl is so easy to work with and looks gorgeous on just about anything! I put this on a 6x6 tile and added some chocolate chip stripped ribbon. This makes a very cute gift!

Flower Fold Die

Goodmorning stampers,
todays card was a sample I used to show a customer the flower fold die. I just love that die!! It is so versatile, you can use paper, cloth, felt, tin foil and more with this die and they all come out very cute!
After I made the flower I couldn't just leave it by itself so this is what I came up with.
I used a retired DSP paper, but it was one of my favorites. I love these colors!!!
Stamp set: well scripted
paper: (all retired) groovy guava, river rock, ginger blossom DSP
groovy guava ribbon, kraft corduroy button and some linen thread

Happy birthday cards

Goodmorning stampers,

crazy for challenges

Goodmorning stampers,
Here is a card I made for a couple of challenges. The Crazy for Challenges blog and the Pals Paper Arts
The Crazy for Challenges blog was to use at least 3 different textures. I think I accomplished that! And the Pals Paper Arts was a series of pictures all showing different birds and we were to make a card using those images as inspiration....so since I just love birds, and especially hummingbirds, this set fit perfect!
Stamp Set: Spring Song
paper:rich razzleberry, orchid opulence, chocolate chip, whisper white, cottage wall DSP
scallop die #2, circle scissors plus, large oval and scallop oval punch
I used my watercolor pencils to color the image and then used a blender pen to blend the colors out.
