window sheets

Goodmorning stampers,

I have seen these fancy favor boxes on other blogs and I just had to try one for myself. Didnt it come out cute?? This was very easy to make,

Just take some thick window sheets and run them through the big shot with the fancy favor die. Then run it through again with the finial press embossing folder (you have to do this in sections) then fold up the box and attach with some sticky strip.

Add some ribbon and viole'!!!

Valentine

Goodmorning stampers,
Today I just had to share a valentine card that my 10 year old daughter made. Isn't this so cute!!
She said she made the front like this to look like the heart was coming out of an envelope. Looks good to me!
Look how cute the inside is? She really likes all the punches and accessories. And she always goes for the DSP paper!
Can you see the writing "love is in the air" where'd she get that??!!! She's only 10!
Anyway I just had to share my Stampin Up! demonstator in the making! Have a nice weekend.

Valentine treats

Goodmorning stampers,
Today I wanted to show you some cute little Valentines treat bags.
These are all made with the scallop envelope die from sizzix.
By folding them in different ways you can make them look completely different.
The ones in the back look like little purses!
I used the heart and oval punches to make the windows and handles. The bag looking ones have the sides cut off so they are open (so you can add more candy!)
Isn't the paper cute? its the new Sending Love DSP. Its hard to tell in the picture but the paper has sparkles right in it!

Night and Day Designer paper

Goodmorning stampers,

Todays cards were made for the Stamping 411 challenge and the coffee diva color challenge.

Woo Hoo, I combined two in one!!!
I really liked this layout. It is simple yet right down my alley.

I made the card below first. And wow, it was way to busy for me. So I made another attempt and like the second card much better! Its hard to see but I used the platinum shimmer paints in alcohol to give the shimmer to the basic grey card stock. (put 2oz of 70% alcohol in a small sray bottle add about 6 drops of platinum paint and shake well)

Stamp set: Thank you kindly, baroque motifs
paper: black, basic grey, going grey, whisper white and night and day DSP
silver embossing powder, platinum shimmer paint

Sweet Treats

Goodmorning stampers,
Here is a card I made for my sideline meeting yesterday. Chocolates anyone!! It was mostly a case from one of you other crafty ladies Gina Shaw. I changed it up alittle and made it my own with the new pinking hearts border punch. I thought it was very cute!
I used the oval punch to make the chocolates and just cut them in half. I made a long strip of the border and then cut them to make the wrappers. The hearts are punched with the heart to heart punch. I used the new polka dot embossing folder on the pink to give it some texture.
Stamp set: teeny tiny wishes
paper: chocolate chip, pretty in pink, real red, whisper white, sweet pea and to the nines DSP
scallop square punch, oval punch, pinking hearts border punch, label punch, modern label punch

I love the birds

Goodmorning stampers,
Here is the other card I made to swap at leadership. I am having so much fun with all the different birds we have! We even got a free stamp set at leadership with my favorite hummingbirds on it!!
I cut an oval out of my finial press embossing folder by tracing the center of the scallop oval sizzix die and using my craft and rubber scissors. I love that! thanks to everyone that had how to's on their blogs.
I sponged the embossed image with old olive to bring out the design alittle more. I also used the new bird punch, top note die, polka dot embossing folder and polka dot red ribbon.

Gotta love the monkeys!

Good morning stampers,
This is one of the swaps I made for leadership. My daughter just loves monkeys so of course I had to get this stamp set. This monkey just reminded me of that Monkey in the Barrel game I used to play when I was little. So here is my "stamping" version of the game!
Oh and the new clear mount made this so easy to connect the monkeys...no stamp-a-ma jig needed!
Stamp set: Fox and Friends
Paper: chocolate chip, old olive, so saffron, Sweet Pea DSP
new border punch, new bird punch(leaves), scallop oval, 1'and 3/4' circle punches, modern label punch

Look at these wonderful clear mount stamps!! Yes, Stampin' Up! is now offering clear mount! You can order from both the sell-a-bration catalog and the occasions mini catalog starting today!!
Wow, storage will be so much nicer. That means I can buy twice as many sets now, right??! These are dvd cases.

Look how nice the mounting blocks are! I have been using clear mount stamps for awhile now and I can honestly say these are one of the nicest sets of blocks out there.

See how thick they are! and they have really great rounded, grooved sides for easy holding.

Wow, look at the space you can save!
The stamp sets on the right I mounted myself using jewel cd cases and on the left is the traditional wood mounted sets. The ones in the middle are the new clear mount sets.
