THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Hi there stampers!

Well I actually am all ready for convention so I had time to play for a little while this morning.
Here is my card for the Stamping 411 challenge this week.

I used Thoughts and Prayers stamp set
Razzleberry,soft suede,old olive and whisper white DS The DSP is Thoroughly Modern.
The ribbon is the polka dot soft suede backwards so its solid. I also used a cream jumbo grommet
a celery button and a kiwi kiss corduroy button.

LOVELY AS A TREE

Good morning stampers,

Here is one of the swaps that I made for convention. I am doing a 6x6 technique swap using the split negative tech..so while I was making those I made some cards to swap as well. This is one of my favorite stamp sets. I use it all the time!

Stamp set: lovely as a tree

chocolate chip, creamy caramel and very vanilla paper

chocolate chip, old olive, versamark ink

winter white embossing powder

The tech is very easy..you stamp the image in a dark color on light paper and emboss the image in light color on dark paper. Then cut them down the middle and attach the dark and light colored paper together. Its very pretty in person.

FANCY FAVOR BIG SHOT DIE

Well this must be a week of big shot projects for me!

I just had to have this new die...there are so many possibilities with it. here are two of them.

I used the thoroughly modern DSP,rich razzleberry, chocolate chip and whisper white. I cut a butterfly with the beautiful butterflys die and then stamped it with flight of the butterfly in rich razzleberry
The sentiment is from great friend.
I also used the lots of tags die and the large oval and scallop oval punches.

For this bag I used the thoroughly modern DSP rich razzleberry and wild wasabi for the leaves. The ribbon is also rich razzleberry!

This die can be either a box or a bag and has the score marks to help you along. It is just the cutest little thing!!!

THANKS EMBOSSLIT DIE

Hello Stampers,

I have been having so much fun playing with my new things! I just love all the big shot supplies and ofcourse I had to have everything the minute I saw it. This card came out of scraps that i had used for another card and it just came to life from there.

I used the Thanks embosslit die , soft suede, rich rasberry and thoroughly modern DSP.

I also used the new texturz plate Perfect Details and then put a white polka dot with my white gel pen to give it alittle more dimension. I also cut the paper along the diamond design for an added detail.

Here is a closer look of the embosslit. I took my soft suede pad and brushed it on top to make the details pop!

MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE 97

Well I was at it again today...finishing up my other favorite sketch challenge!

I really like the color combo on this card. When I first started I wasnt quite sure about it but it really came to life by the time I finished!

411 SKETCH CHALLENGE 109

Hello there stampers!

I finally had some time to play with the stamping 411 sketch challenge today.

Here is what I came up with..

I also used the new impressions folder Finial Press for the big shot on the razzleberry paper.

And lastly some old olive brads

Hello stampers!! Well we are back from a wonderful vacation! Wish we could have stayed another week...but now its time to gear up for convention!!!!yeah for me!
Before we left I had a little time to play with my new stuff! So here is a card using some of the great new things from the new catalog.

Stamp sets:let the fun begin, great friend.
Bermuda bay, melon mambo, whisper white and thoroughly modern DSP.
The BEAUTIFUL new big shot embossing folder finial press and soft suede polka dot ribbon turned backwards finishes it off.

I have to tell you I absolutely LOVE the embossing folders. They make such a beautiful impression on the paper!!
