This is a baby card I made for my neighbor who just had a beautiful little boy.
I started with the big shot scallop die and then used the new texture plates to make the dots.
I used the duck from the goodie gum drops set
the pacifier is from a retired set called little layers plus but I just thought that was such a clever idea! It reminded me of how my daughters always had their binky's attached to their clothes, cuz god forbid if we ever lost them!!!
ing this year and asked me to make some announcements for them. They are very simple but thats what their son wanted! I like how they turned out! I used night of navy, whisper white, and silver paper. The year is embossed with silver EP.
Here is the card I decided on for my swaps. I love this set and the beer stamp is probably my favorite!
I just had to use the crystal effects and liquid applique on these glasses of beer. Stamp set: Cheers to you basic grey, whisper white and walk in the park ds paper 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches
I was playing around with this set for a swap and this is one of the samples I came up with...I actually like how it turned out, its alittle out of the box for me!
Stamp set: Cheers to You
basic grey, kiwi kiss, whisper white, walk in the park ds paper
big shot dies
crystal effects
The basic grey is the reverse image of the die!

Here is my take on a project done by Liz Miller. Her purse notcards were so stinking cute I just had to make one! There are three each of the these cards inside the purse.
I used the Fifth avenue floral set
pacific point, baja breeze, basic grey ink and then I sponged in the flowers and around the purse with the same colors. I used confetti white and basic grey paper for the purse and all the same coordinating colors for the cards.
I just fell in love with this stamp set...it is not Stampin Up! but I just loved it! The card is a tri-fold with the center cut out. I had never made a card with this fold and it is very cute!
This is how the card looks opened...
The set is by My Craft Lounge and it is called "Pat the bad dog"
I used real red, whisper white, close to cocoa CS and colored him in with our matching markers.
I just had to show you how cute my husband is...this is his version of a homemade card! He got into my supplies and this was his creation. How sweet was that!! Its hard to see in the picture but the hearts actually pop up.
This set was given to us at convention last year and I rarely did anything with it until recently. I didnt think I liked it but it has really grown on me!
This is the shaving cream technique.
I used really rust, summer sun, close to cocoa ink refills. Chocolate chip ink
Here is another sample of my bleaching class...I told you I went alittle overboard with my samples!
I used night of navy, creamy caramel and very vanilla CS.
The stamp set is Great Friend
white organza ribbon and latte buttons
Look at how cute the button looks with alittle linen thread!
At first I didnt like how the bleach pulled a brown tone out of the navy paper but it actually looks very rich with the caramel. Its very pretty in person!
I hope all of you have enjoyed your Mother's Day! I had a wonderful day with my family...we went to Carpinteria beach for the day and my wonderful husband cooked me and my sister-in-laws breakfast on the beach. It was very overcast but any day at the beach is a great day!
Here is one of the mothers day cards that I made..
I used the fifth avenue floral set and manhattan die
whisper white, perfect plum, old olive paper and ink
It is a simple card but I like how it turned out! This is not a color combo I would have normally used but I saw it on another blog and thought mmnnn...thats interesting!
This is a very cute note card box set. The box holds 8 cards, 2 designs of 4. I think I will give this to one of my kids teachers at the end of the year. It would also make a nice mothers day gift!
Stamp set: oval all
basic grey, baja breeze whisper white, walk in the park DS paper.
I absolutely love this stamp set! Here is the sample I made for my group the other night. This is the bleaching technique again ,and I also stamped the image in baja breeze first to give it a shadow. I didnt put a sentiment on it yet because I'm not quite sure what to use it for... It has more layers than I usually use but I like the final look.
stamp set: upsy daisy
white, baja breeze, chocolate chip, parisian breeze DS paper
chocolate chip grosgrain
and dazzling diamonds glitter to the tops of the flowers!! Gotta give it some bling!

Here is my take on the cute tri-fold card I have been seeing everywhere. This is actually a very easy card to make, though it looks much more complicated. Stamp set: crazy for cupcakes baja breeze, sweet slumber party DS paper This is how the card looks opened...
I never seem to have enough male cards. I bought this set with that in mind. I really like the muted colors of this card. I had showed the thumping technique for this card and it gave it alot of dimension.
Here are a couple more samples for my bleaching class tonight. I just love this set and everything I have seen done with it is always just beautiful!
1st card:
stamp set: fifth avenue floral
whisper white, regal rose, rasberry tart DS paper
rose red ink
white organza ribbon
2nd card:
Stamp Set:fifth avenue floral
whisper white, real red, bella rose DS paper
real red ink
flat pearls from pretties kit
oval punches
Bleaching is very easy: use a throw away container, add paper towels to the bottom, put some bleach in it- enough to saturate the towels, stamp away! You can clean your stamps the same way you always do, and then throw away the bleach when done! Thats it..and it makes a very neat alternative to ink. Enjoy!
I have all these great impressions with the cutouts from my bigshot so...I thought why couldnt I use these too! I thought this made a very interesting focal point for this card. I am so in love with the cordurouy buttons and the idea (from Patty Bennett) to put two different ones together is just great! I put enough dimensionals on the back to make the leave pop up and stay flat.
I used creamy caramel, kiwi kiss paper. Good morning sunshine DS paper
big shot little leaves sizzlit. Kiwi kiss and summer son cordurouy buttons and gold brads
