gift bag

Goodmorning stampers,
Today I have this beautiful gift bag for you! Remember the cute christmas tree I showed a few days ago...well this is the wrapping for it. I am so in love with the snowflake die and these colors just make me think of snuggling in a blanket by the fire watching the snow come down. (Hey, a girl from Southern California can dream right!)
Anyhoo, I used a large kraft bag (found in my stach of I'll use this someday!) a full 81/2x11" sheet of whisper white paper stamped randomly with snowflakes and holiday wishes
a strip of bashful blue scalloped at the bottom. Then I cut out some snowflakes and added scallop circle kraft behind them to tie into the bag. The big snowflake used whisper white, bashful blue and kraft...the kraft is the snowflake punch x4 again to tie into the bag. Added a ornament decoration and some bling and there you have it. Oh and dont forget to do the back of the bag too!!

O' Christmas tree

Good morning stampers,
Today I have a fun project that I made for my up line's holiday meeting this weekend. I made a few of these last year and they were a big hit! They are so easy to make and come out just darling!
You will need a cone shaped Styrofoam and some sewing pins with the balls on the end. cut your DSP paper into 1" x 4" strips. Fold over your strip to make a loop. Start layering the paper from the bottom up by pushing a pin into the top overlapping slightly each piece. Once I got to the top I used a scallop circle to cover the top and added the ribbon and star. The star is punched using both the large and small star punch. Its hard to see in this picture but the big star is so saffron and the little star is layered on top in summer sun. I used champagne shimmer paint to make it sparkly and then used glue dots to adhere it to a toothpick.
Paper is Christmas cocoa DSP

Dasher jewelery

Goodmorning stampers,
Wow, these came out so beautiful, I can't even tell you! The picture really doesnt do them justice! Sometimes I just amaze myself!!!
Anyway these came from a total case from Stampin Mama
I saw here jewelry and new I just had to create some for myself.
These were made using some chipboard (I used the kraft stuff in the back of dsp) and the Dasher stamp. First I stamped the image in versemark and embossed with black EP. then I sponged on old olive, and real red. I also sponged on gold encore pad on the edges. Then I used the champagne shimmer paint. And lastly I put crystal effects completely over both front and back. It did start to bubble at the top after the last step so my suggestion would be lots of thin layers as aposed to one thick layer.
